Job summary

Louisville Center for Eating Disorders in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time or contract Registered Dietitian to join our PHP/IOP treatment team. You will lead nutrition groups, perform admission nutrition assessments, and provide individual nutrition therapy for PHP and IOP patients.

You will collaborate with therapists, the psychiatric provider, and program staff, participate in weekly treatment team meetings, and work with adolescents and adults while maintaining meticulous documentation

Qualifications

• RD credential through CDR is required.
• Kentucky Licensed Dietitian or licensure eligibility.
• Experience in eating disorders preferred; training available.

Registered Dietitian, Eating Disorders (PHP/IOP)

Louisville Center for Eating Disorders, Louisville, KY

Part-Time Employee or Contract, 8 to 20 hours per week

The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders (LCED) is looking for a part-time or contract Registered Dietitian to join our treatment team. LCED is the only eating disorder specialty partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) program in Kentucky, and patients are referred to us from across the state. Our dietitian is central to every patient's care and works closely with our therapists, psychiatric provider and program staff.

At least one year of experience as an RD and prior eating disorder experience are preferred. If you are new to the specialty but interested in it, we will train you. You will have in-depth training from experienced clinicians, weekly treatment team consultation, and a full library of treatment manuals, workbooks, handouts and research articles.

What You Would Do

• Lead nutrition groups for PHP and IOP patients

• Provide individual nutrition therapy for PHP and IOP patients
• Take part in weekly treatment team meetings
• Work with adolescents and adults, and with their families
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and protect patient privacy

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDR
• Kentucky Licensed Dietitian (LD), or eligible for licensure
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a program setting
• Contractors carry their own professional liability insurance
