Job summary

Ocean Recovery in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services to residential clients on an independent contractor basis. This part-time contract role involves intake assessments, treatment planning, meal planning, and progress monitoring as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers 10–20 hours per week, in-person location, hourly pay $50–$70, with two years of experience preferred; requirements include RD credential and CEDS a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RD/RDN credential through the CDR is required.
• Minimum 2 years of eating disorder nutrition counseling experience.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical management of patients required.
• Residential, PHP or IOP experience preferred; SUD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive RD nutrition services including intake assessments, treatment planning, goal setting and meal planning.
• Meet with clients weekly or biweekly to monitor progress in recovery.
• Facilitate nutrition education groups and support meal exposures.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with standards; collaborate with the treatment team.
