Job summary

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time role (20 hours/week). The position involves nutrition assessments, care planning, and patient education within the Culinary & Nutrition-Hosp department.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Nutrition/Dietetics with RD eligibility and may have a Master’s degree. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 12-month commitment. Weekend/holiday rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Nutrition or Dietetics or equivalent.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD eligible per CDR requirements.
• Master's degree preferred and licensure current.
• Ability to perform nutrition assessments and educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition assessment and nutrition-focused exams.
• Develop and manage nutrition care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Offer patient and family nutrition counseling and education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to policies.
• Lead education initiatives and participate in quality improvement.
• Mentor staff and interns where assigned.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
