Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Lead in Phoenix, AZ for a full-time day shift to support our Culinary & Nutrition-Hosp team. This role includes leadership of the clinical nutrition department and direct involvement in patient care, nutrition assessments, care plans, and education.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with weekend/holiday coverage as needed. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of acute care experience, RD/RDN credentials, and a Master’s degree by 2024 to sit for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics completed.
• RD or RDN credential required; licensure maintained.
• Master's degree required to sit for the RD exam per 2024 rule.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical nutrition department and manage a complex patient caseload.
• Provide nutrition assessments and develop care plans.
• Offer patient and family nutrition counseling and education.
• Collaborate with medical providers, nursing, therapy, and culinary teams.
• Provide training/education resources to staff.
• Ensure scheduling and regulatory compliance.
