Job summary

HHS is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC. You will guide patients, families, and staff on medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient satisfaction and quality care.

Starting rate is $35/hour, negotiable based on experience. This 20-hour weekly role emphasizes inpatient and outpatient care, education, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with CDR and state license as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments in the medical record and communicate with physicians and clinical staff.
• Manage orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend rounds and support regulatory compliance.
