Job summary

Intercept Health in Richmond, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized plans for clients with autism and related developmental disabilities. The role focuses on reducing unsafe behaviors while boosting communication and social skills, under BCBA supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, an active RBT credential, and prior experience with children. A Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science is preferred; ABA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• The candidate has at least a high school diploma and experience with children.
• Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician credential in good standing.
• Bachelor's in Behavioral Science is preferred; ABA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement an individualized plan based on client targets to decrease unsafe behaviors while increasing communication and social skills, with supervision from a BCBA.
• Observe client skills and collect data for assessing abilities and developing program goals.
• Work with children and young adults with autism or other developmental disabilities in a center-based program promoting language, behavior, social and daily living skills.

Education

High School Diploma

RBT credential in good standing

Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science (preferred)

ABA experience (a plus)
