Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience or equivalent trade school experience.
  • EPA Universal certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and inspect HVAC/Refrigeration systems throughout the parks.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and documentation.

Job description

You will repair and perform daily routine inspections of all HVAC/Refrigeration systems in the parks. Specifically, you will:

  • Perform field repair of HVAC/Refrigeration systems throughout the parks
  • Train in general system operations and functions, as well as procedures and routines
  • Complete all scheduled preventive HVAC maintenance
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals related to Park HVAC equipment
  • Maintain inventory control and review ordering needs with leadership
  • Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy
  • Complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines
  • Maintain department standards performance in terms of attendance, performance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

What it takes to succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical trade school or equivalent experience with an emphasis on HVAC/Refrigeration
  • At least 2 years of practical HVAC/Refrigeration experience or combination of HVAC/Refrigeration experience & trade school experience
  • Knowledgeable in the reading of and working from blueprints and/or drawings
  • EPA Universal level certification
  • Experience in HVAC Controls
  • Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to repetitively climb stairs
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 100ft
  • Ability to climb and work off of ladders
  • Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Must be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts including weekends and holidays

What else is important:

  • HVAC/Refrigeration controls experience preferred
  • VFD knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
  • HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance of food service equipment preferred
  • Experience with Commercial refrigeration preferred
  • Mechanical engineering is a plus

Compensation: Up to $27.00 per hour commensurate with experience
