Job summary

California State University Channel Islands is hiring a Part-Time Reference Librarian to support student research and information literacy at the John Spoor Broome Library. The position may involve nights or weekends and offers part-time duties (4–8 hours weekly).

Minimum qualifications include an MLS from an ALA-accredited program and demonstrated experience in reference services to a diverse population. Preference for experience with library outreach and information literacy programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference services to the campus community with a schedule that may include nights or weekends.
• Assist with LibGuides, copy cataloging, developing outreach materials, and information literacy sessions as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by the library leadership.
