The role involves planning and directing recreation programs for patients in treatment, documenting sessions, and coordinating community activities for PHP/IOP levels of care. Requires National or State Certification in Recreation Therapy, CPR and Standard First Aid, a minimum high school

The Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating approved recreation programs for patients in treatment. The Recreational Therapist is responsible for conducting recreational therapy groups and documenting in accordance with treatment plan goals. This position will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating community-based activities for patients in PHP and IOP levels of care.
