Job summary

City of Bentonville, AR seeks a friendly fitness center attendant to oversee daily operations at the Wellness Area. You will greet guests, demonstrate equipment use, assist members, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for all participants.

Responsibilities include signing in participants, keeping the floor tidy, setting up pickleball and other equipment, and reporting incidents. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtained on the job.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred, especially with older adults.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and answer questions about the facility.
• Ensure fitness floor, track and studio areas are tidy.
• Ensure fitness class sign in sheets and fitness classes are running smoothly.
• Loaning and recovering fitness area supplies to members.
• Providing tours for prospective members.
• Maintaining fitness equipment.
• Organize fitness floor closets and equipment.
• Setup pickleball and other sports equipment at the designated times.
• Report incidents and accidents on the fitness floor.
• Light housekeeping includes vacuuming, wiping equipment, and folding towels.
