Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Recreation Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. This part-time role focuses on providing engaging recreational activities to promote residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

You will plan and implement programs, collaborate with care teams, assist with daily living activities as needed, and help maintain a welcoming environment for residents and families in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Plan and implement recreational programs and activities for residents (diverse needs).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans including recreation.
• Provide assistance with daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming recreation department.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents

• Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as toileting, ambulation, and transfers, as needed
