Job summary

The Logan Parks and Recreation – Recreation Division is looking for a part-time coordinator to support a wide range of recreation programs in Logan, Utah. You will help coordinate activities, monitor facilities and ensure safe, positive experiences for all participants.

Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising activities like pickleball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and flag football for youth and adults, coordinating officials and volunteers, and possibly preparing

Qualifications

• Must graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Red Cross CPR Certification highly desired; certification may be obtained within three months of employment.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, department heads, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, promote, oversee and perform tasks for Logan Parks & Recreation – Recreation Division.
• Schedule activities such as pickleball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and flag football for youth and adults.
• Monitor officials and volunteers; prepare facilities for programming.
• Ensure a safe environment for recreation activities and model safety and sportsmanship.
• Assist in creating public relations materials such as flyers.
