Job summary

City of Provo is seeking part-time custodians to perform cleaning and maintenance at the Provo Recreation Center, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning, minor repairs, waste management, and maintaining building security, with two years of custodial experience or an equivalent combination of education and training. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of custodial or related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• A valid, lawful Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and sanitize City buildings, offices, restrooms, grounds, fixtures, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, seal, wax, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Wash walls, woodwork, windows, doors, desks, ceilings, and other surface areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste including emptying garbage containers and replacing liners.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs including unstopping lavatories, replacing fluorescent tubes and ballasts, and similar assignments.
• Maintain general cleaning equipment including changing filters.
