Job summary

The City of Pearland, TX is looking for a Part-Time Recreation Attendant to lead and improve day-to-day operations within the Parks & Recreation department. You will engage with patrons, answer questions, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, assisting with front desk tasks, monitoring activities, and helping with events and facility upkeep. Weekend availability may be required; salary is $13.67–$14.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• Requires three (3) months recreation or closely related experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors activities of instructors, rentals, and volunteers.
• Provides information to participants, spectators, and citizens.
• Logs daily visitation and assists at front desk (phones, memberships, tours).
• Cleans and maintains facilities; secures buildings at day end.
• Oversees events and natatorium use; reports damages and assists with equipment upkeep.
