Your Goal

This position is responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, registering patients, creating and maintaining patient files, and scheduling appointments.

How You'll Help Patients
  • Welcome patients and visitors, assess their needs, and respond accordingly.
  • Prepare for the next day’s clinic.
  • Provide necessary paperwork for patient completion.
  • Review registration forms for completeness and assist patients in filling out forms.
  • Enter patient information accurately into the EHR system.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate staff; take accurate messages.
  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Follow all PCMH policies and procedures.
  • Report to scheduled work sites and shifts on time, fully prepared; locations and shifts may change at supervisor's discretion.
  • Participate in training, consultations, and supervision; respond professionally to feedback and directives.
  • Travel to other locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
