Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Part-Time Receiving Tech in Philadelphia to handle incoming medical supplies, verify against POs, and prepare items for delivery or return to vendor.

You will record shipment data, ensure accuracy, and maintain logs for all incoming and outgoing items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year experience in shipping/receiving or office environment preferred.
• Some knowledge of the job and ability to learn.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and regulations; familiarity with internal tools.

Responsabilités

• Receive and unpack materials against POs for delivery.

• Record shipment data: weight, charges, space availability.
• Report damages and discrepancies for reimbursement or re-shipment.
• Maintain logs of shipments in/out.

Job Locations

US-PA-Philadelphia

Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO's) for delivery
• Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
• Prepare daily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year experience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
• Some knowledge of the job
• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
• Knowledge & application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
• Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines

• Reaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs
• Walking, standing for extended periods of time
