UCSF Health is seeking a high-energy Recreational Sports staff member to support the UCSF Fitness and Recreation program. The role is part-time (40% variability) with an average of 8–16 hours per week, delivering engaging instruction, assisting participants, and upholding safe, fun activities on campus.
You'll work under the Recreational Sports Manager, create and follow lesson plans, provide excellent customer service, and apply UCSF HR policies.
UCSF Fitness and Recreation inspires wellbeing and health on the UCSF campus through fitness, community, and play. The Recreational Sports unit is an integral part of Fitness and Recreation and provides excellent customer service while ensuring participants participate in Recreation programs and leagues in a safe and fun environment. The Recreational Sports Staff works under direct supervision of the Recreational Sports Manager and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Recreational Sports unit, which includes customer service, creating and following lesson plans and providing quality instruction to all program participants. Recreational Sports is looking for high energy, dynamic, positive, outgoing staff to be a part of our unit and UCSF Fitness and Recreation.
