SAN JOAQUIN COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications for a reading tutor to assist 2nd and 3rd grade students in building reading competencies. Under the direct supervision of a teacher, you will support small groups during a regular weekly block from 8 a.m.
to 2:45 p.m., with flexible days (preferably Tuesday or Thursday). The position requires patience, good reading skills, and the ability to work one-on-one or in small groups.
Under the direct supervision of a teacher, the reading tutor will work in a classroom setting with 2nd and 3rd grade students to encourage and build reading competencies.
$18.00 - $23.00
Ability to sit, and bend, reach in all directions: adequate sight or corrected vision for the purpose of reading printed or written materials; hear and speak to communicate with coworkers, students and the public; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate instructional equipment.
