Job summary

Mojabdental in Pleasanton is seeking a part-time dental assistant/DA-RDA to join a private, single-doctor practice. You will perform chairside assisting during restorative and surgical procedures, manage operatories, and uphold infection control standards.

Ideal candidates have certification (RDA/CDA), strong infection control knowledge, and comfort with digital X-ray systems and Open Dental software; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Excellent patient communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification to work as a dental assistant (RDA/CDA).
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols.
• Comfort with digital systems and imaging tech.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented and efficient; willingness to learn advanced procedures.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during restorative and surgical procedures.
• Prepare and break down operatories; sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Take digital radiographs and assist with impressions and temporaries.
• Support endodontic, implant and surgical treatments; monitor patient comfort and safety.
• Review medical histories and chart during treatment; coordinate with front desk for patient flow.
