Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in Reno, NV is hiring Behavior Technicians to join our team. BTs work 1-1 under BCBA supervision in home-based settings, delivering ABA services to children with autism from birth to age 21.

We offer flexible part-time/evening/afternoon hours, paid training, a supportive team environment, and growth opportunities. Applicants should have an RBT certification and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification is required.
• Nevada ABA board certification is required or the candidate must be willing to obtain it if coming from another state.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with ASD preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families and supervisors.
• Physically assist during sessions (movement, lifting up to 25+ pounds).
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
