Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Part Time Ranger-2 to patrol and safeguard our campground, assist guests, and enforce rules. You will manage gate security, assist with reservations, and respond to emergencies with calm, professional judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to use computer applications.

• Exceptional customer service and communications skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in security and/or law enforcement and/or RV environment is a benefit.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property with a keen eye for any issues or potential problems.
• Ensure the property is properly secured.
• Ensure guests comply with resort rules and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate access.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Take camping reservations, check in/out, and sell day passes and store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ELS is hiring for the position of Part Time Ranger-2 in Palm Desert, California.

What You'll Do

The Campground Ranger position may include walking or patrol of the grounds of the campground answering questions, enforcing rules and ensuring the safety of our guests and their belongings. The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to local, state and federal law.

Your Job Will Include

Estimated Compensation For This Position In The States Of CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT And WA Is

Hourly: $16.90 - $17.00
