Job summary

Required licenses include Oregon Radiographer License or OBMI temporary license with timely permanent licensure, ARRT certification within 180 days, and BLS acknowledgment.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License required on hire; OBMI temporary license acceptable with 6-month permanent licensure.
• Temporary license required for new grads with 6 months to obtain permanent license.
• National Certification from ARRT within 180 days of hire; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations per physician orders using imaging equipment.
• Position patients appropriately and calibrate technique and radiation dose.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize exposure for patient and staff.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure patient safety and comfort.
