Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; two years of patient care experience or one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Possible patient care experience includes desk operation specialists, nursing assistant, patient care assistant, or licensed practical nurse.
• Exposure to electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and information prior to procedures, instruct patients, and assist the consultant during procedures.
• Involved in postoperative support, specimen handling, vital signs, room turnaround, and supply management.
• Support other aspects of patient care, including patient visits and assisting the health care team; transport patients as needed.
