Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville seeks a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and capture diagnostic images under radiologist oversight. You’ll position patients, adjust exposure factors, and ensure image quality while protecting staff and visitors.

Requirements include ARRT registered or eligible, IDNS licensing, CPR certification, and 6 months to 2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• Must be AART registered or eligible; IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification required.
• 6 months to 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes under Radiologist direction.
• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices for optimum view.
• Explains procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtains cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment and sets exposure factors (time and distance) for each view.
• Applies radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Maintains crash cart and stock inventory; adheres to OSHA regulations.
• Follows department workflow and reports to lead technologist for assignments.
• Works evenings and holidays as required; supports film quality control and department operations.
