Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ seeks a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols and ALARA guidelines. You will operate radiographic equipment, help ensure patient safety, document results accurately, and assist in training new staff.

This is an on-site, part-time role (24 hours/week). Requirements: graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT registered or eligible, NJDEP licensure; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Registered or registry eligible by ARRT; NJDEP licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist, while applying principles of radiation safety and protection at all times.
• Evaluates images with goal of producing radiographic images of the highest diagnostic quality.
• Documents pertinent medical information prior to the procedure, reviews and verifies physicians' orders.
• Provides instruction to and assists in training new staff or student radiologic technologists.
