Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technician to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic x-rays under physician guidance. The role emphasizes safety, quality imaging, and proper documentation.

Applicants should have an associate or bachelor’s in radiologic technology, a current state license, and fluoroscopy experience. ARRT is preferred; C-Arm experience and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Must possess a current state license as a Radiology Technician.
• ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment and performs diagnostic x-rays per physician orders.
• Assists in preparing rooms and documents radiation duration and equipment tests.
• Maintains documentation, logs, and equipment reports for radiology services.
• Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to produce high-quality images.
• Ensures radiation safety for self and patient and adheres to safety protocols.
