Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Pool Radiation Therapist in Egg Harbor Township to join the Radiation Therapy team part-time. The role involves preparing and administering prescribed radiation treatments under the Radiation Oncologist, while delivering compassionate patient care and supporting departmental procedures.

Candidates must hold a NJ Radiation Therapy Technologist license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior ASRT involvement and clinical applications experience are valued; training is provided

Qualifications

• ASRT membership and continuing education are preferred; on-the-job training will be provided as needed.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy School required.
• ARRT certification with unrestricted therapy credentials and NJ Radiation Therapy Technologist license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers prescribed radiation treatments.
• Provides emotional support to patients and ensures high-quality patient care.
• Ensures compliance with established departmental procedures and standards.
• Supports team work and participates in performance-improvement efforts.
• Reports to the Administrative Director of Radiation Oncology.
