Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Radiation Therapy in Egg Harbor Township. The role involves collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

The RN will apply the nursing process, coordinate care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement activities. A BSN is preferred, with NJ RN licensure and BLS. ACLS within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey or multi-state license.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Coordinate and oversee interdisciplinary plan of care aligned with medical treatment.
• Provide patient/family education and support to promote health outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development.
• Maintain competency and certification for required tasks and duties.
