Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, IGT Division, seeks a part-time summer quality intern to assist in inspecting machined parts and assemblies at various stations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with GMP and 6S in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information, such as material, surface finish, and dimensions.
• Perform all inspection procedures to assure quality of manufacturing lines.
• Calculate and measure dimensions using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Maintain, issue, and file inspection reports and NCRs.
• Communicate quality issues with internal personnel and support root-cause analysis.
• Assist with layout and final inspections as needed.
