Job summary

Montgomery College seeks Part-Time Temporary Parking Enforcement Officers across all campus locations. The regular schedule is 25 hours weekly, Monday–Friday; hours set at hire.

This non-bargaining, non-exempt temporary role is funded through June 30, 2027, with potential continuation based on need and funding. Responsibilities include patrolling, issuing citations via Mobile License Plate Reader, assisting the public with ordinances and parking areas, and serving as a friendly, helpful campus

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to accommodate assignment to other campus locations.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the area of responsibility in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
• Issue parking citations legibly and accurately with the Mobile License Plate Reader (LPR).
• Assist citizens and others by providing information about parking regulations and locations.
• Be welcoming and helpful to visitors, students, faculty, and staff, providing direction and information.
• Follow through on oral and written instructions and provide timely assistance in emergencies.
