Job summary

The Town of Plymouth, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Audio Engineer to support town meetings, public events, and cultural programs with professional sound reinforcement. You will monitor audio quality, troubleshoot issues during live events, and coordinate with event organizers, IT staff, and AV vendors to ensure clear, reliable sound.

Qualifications

• Experience in live sound mixing and signal flow management.
• Hands-on with microphones, consoles, and AV hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot during events and maintain equipment.
• Ability to work on-site in Plymouth, MA, including evenings/weekends.
• Municipal, educational, broadcast, or event production experience preferred.
