Job summary

Lourdes Medical Center is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to support the rehabilitation team with patient mobility and therapeutic exercises. You will work under a supervising PT to deliver interventions, monitor patient responses, and document progress while maintaining a safe treatment environment.

Successful candidates have an Associate's degree from a PTA program, an active PTA license in the state, CPR certification, and rehab or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
