Responsibilities include assisting in implementing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, document observations, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care.
• Document treatments and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated care.
