Job summary

PureHealth is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following PureHealth policies and state/federal regulations. You will contribute to assessments, implement treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with the care team to ensure a comprehensive patient view.

The role requires graduation from an accredited therapy assistant program, at least one year of PTA experience, and a valid Texas PTA license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy assistant program.
• Minimum of 1 year therapy assistant experience.
• Valid State PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment of customers under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Provide treatment per plan; monitor progress.
• Complete documentation of daily charges and progress notes.
• Coordinate with providers for discharge planning and team updates.
• Maintain productivity and schedule adjustments per caseload.
