Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care, notifying supervising PT of any concerns.
• Follow the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and counsel patients effectively on exercises.

Skills

Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities

Ability to communicate and instruct effectively

Ability to delegate support care to non-licensed staff

Education

PTA, licensed to practice in Rhode Island
