Job summary

Total Care Therapy in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team in Waterville. You will work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents improve mobility, increase strength, restore function, and maintain independence in assisted living communities.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to the established plan of care.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Accurately complete documentation and treatment notes using an EMR system.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and safety strategies.
