Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida is seeking licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to deliver hands-on therapeutic support under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This part-time, on-site role offers flexibility and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, monitoring resident progress, educating residents and caregivers on exercises, and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• CPR certification (as required by facility or state guidelines).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines
