Job summary

Sequoia Care in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide hands-on, therapist-guided care in an on-site setting. This PRN/part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to resident wellbeing in senior living, long-term care, and home health settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
• CPR certification as required by facility or state guidelines
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and resident-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Implement PT treatment plans under a Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate clinical records per Florida state and federal guidelines
