Job summary

AID Performance Physical Therapy, LLC in Ashburn, Virginia seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a part-time outpatient role with two to three weekday blocks, aligned with school days, totaling about 12–20 hours weekly.

You will support the supervising PT, perform follow-up treatments, document with AI-scribe aid, and enjoy an independent clinic environment with no corporate quotas and potential hour growth.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PTA license or eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Outpatient orthopedic or sports experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability with a consistent recurring schedule.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the supervising PT.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized plans of care from the supervising PT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional activities.
• Progress treatments within the plan of care and PTA scope.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Collect objective measures and treatment data when appropriate.
• Assist patients toward functional, recreational, and return-to-sport goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation with AI-scribe support.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team.
• Support a patient-first, organized clinic environment.
