Job summary

Vertis Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team serving assisted living communities in South Bend and Elkhart, Indiana. You will provide skilled physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve residents’ independence, safety, and functional mobility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding progress and changes in status.
• Participate or lead team development meetings.
• Lead community-wide wellness programs and events.
