Job summary

Vertis Therapy is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at an Assisted Living community in Mishawaka, Indiana. This role emphasizes individualized care and fosters a collaborative work environment.

The PTA will perform treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, assisting with evaluations and maintaining patient records. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree and excellent communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the state of practice.
• Prefer minimum one year rehabilitation experience.
• Prefer active membership in the state and national American Physical Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy treatments to patients according to treatment plans.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and treatment procedures.
• Observe, record and report patient conditions and responses.
