Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy in Duluth, GA, is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. This unlicensed position works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and supports routine patient care and clinic operations.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with exercises, applying basic modalities, maintaining cleanliness, and handling patient intake and scheduling tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice or heat as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, change and launder linens.
• Assist with patient intake, answer calls and schedule appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
