Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Chatsworth, GA. This unlicensed associate works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and contributes to exceptional patient care.

The technician prepares treatment areas, assists patients with exercises, performs basic treatments, and handles administrative tasks such as intake and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change/ launder linens.
• Assist with patient intake, answer calls and schedule appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
