Green Oaks Physical Therapy in Grand Prairie is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our outpatient orthopedic team. In this role, you'll work alongside physical therapists to deliver patient-centered care and support a positive patient experience.

As a PT Tech, you will help with direct patient care, prepare treatment areas, and ensure equipment is clean and ready. You will assist with modalities, educate patients, document details, and help coordinate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a medical environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with direct patient care.
• Administer modalities including hot and cold packs, ultrasound, and other prescribed treatments.
• Prepare treatment areas and sanitize equipment; ensure it functions properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
• Document patient information and treatment details accurately while adhering to HIPAA.
• Support patients with exercises and mobility under supervisor.
• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and inventory management.
• Communicate with the clinical team to coordinate care.
• Follow all clinical protocols and safety procedures.
