Job summary

Green Oaks Physical Therapy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapy Technician to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will work alongside physical therapists to support patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.

This role emphasizes compassionate service, accurate documentation, HIPAA compliance, and readiness to learn. The PT Tech will help with treatment setup, patient assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic across varied schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a medical environment, preferably PT/OT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Able to stand for extended periods and assist patients.
• HIPAA familiarity.
• Flexible scheduling, varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with direct patient care and treatment execution
• Administer modalities including hot and cold packs, ultrasound, and other prescribed treatments
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and functioning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment that supports patient comfort and safety
• Document patient information and treatment details accurately while adhering to HIPAA compliance
• Support patients with exercises and mobility assistance under therapist supervision
• Greet patients warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and inventory management
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care coordination
• Follow all clinical protocols and safety procedures consistently
