Job summary

Goodwin Living in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist to deliver in-home care 3–4 days per week. You will assess patients, develop plans of care, and provide therapy per physician directives in a home health setting.

You will collaborate with the care team, communicate with referrers, and document outcomes to ensure high-quality patient care. This role supports a mission-driven nonprofit with strong benefits and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy License in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Prior home health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead detailed patient assessments to devise individualized Plans of Care.
• Offer expert physical therapy in the Home Health sphere as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation and liaise with referring physicians.
