Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our Ridley Park, PA team. This part-time role supports therapists in patient care and clinic operations, with early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with non-Medicare treatments, preparing treatment areas, front desk tasks, patient registration and insurance verification, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or outpatient clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in treatment of non-Medicare patients; retrieve packs and set up exercise machines.
• Monitor patient exercises and form as directed by therapists.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, equipment, and plinths after each patient use.
• Front desk duties: phones, scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, charge entry, payment posting.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and supplies.
• Attend staff meetings or obtain written agenda if unable to attend.
