Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor (Psychology) in the Arts and Sciences Department. This part-time position teaches General Education Psychology and supports advising, grading, and student recruitment at ATC’s main campus south of downtown Atlanta.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Psychology or related field with relevant graduate hours, and have teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field with 18 graduate hours in psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• One year of teaching experience; experience with psychology and general education areas.
• Experience with Banner and LMS preferred.
• May be required to teach at other locations within the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Education Psychology courses to students.
• Maintain grade books and records in accordance with policy.
• Advise and counsel students and maintain advisement records.
• Maintain classrooms and labs per institutional safety guidelines.
• Assist with student recruitment and serve on committees.
