Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Pharmacy, is seeking a part-time hourly Research Assistant to assist with protein crystallization and routine laboratory maintenance in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and laboratory experience; candidate must work independently and with a team in an onsite environment at the Richmond campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in science or equivalent
• Laboratory experience and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team or group
• Demonstrated professionalism and civility with faculty, staff and students

Responsibilities

• Assist with protein crystallization tasks and laboratory maintenance
• Support day-to-day lab operations and equipment upkeep
• Collaborate with researchers and other lab personnel to ensure safety and compliance
