Part-Time Proposal/ Administrative Assistant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Part-Time Proposal/ Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client, a start-up in the government contracting space. This is a temporary, primarily remote position in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area that is ready for immediate hire!


Perks:
  • Part-time, flexible ~20 hours/week schedule.
  • Ability to work remotely in Washington state.
  • $30-35/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential government contracts, grants, and business opportunities through market research and monitoring procurement websites (e.g., SAM.gov, Grants.gov).
  • Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for eligibility and feasibility.
  • Gather and organize company credentials, certifications, and financial documents.
  • Compile proposal data and maintain an organized database of past submissions and templates.
  • Track deadlines and follow up on pending proposals.
  • Ensure proposals meet submission guidelines, formatting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a system to track proposals (submitted, pending, won, lost), analyze success rates, and provide regular updates to leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in administrative support, contract research, or proposal coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to review and interpret documents like RFPs and RFQs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly pay rate between $30-$35/hr.
